IAP2 FOUNDATIONS IN PUBLIC PARTICIPATION:

INTERNATIONALLY ACCREDITED TRAINING PROGRAMME

The International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) Southern African Affiliate is pleased to announce the presentation of the two internationally certified training courses in the Foundations of Public Participation in September 2018 in Pretoria. An outline of the two courses accompanies this announcement.

The training will be delivered by Tisha Greyling, one of the most experienced trainers in P2 globally.

The training is hands-on, interactive, and fun whilst learning and participating in group work. It takes trainees from theory to practice and back with ample examples and photos from real case studies, and real case studies used during group work.

Monday, 3 to Wednesday 5 September 2018, Module 1,

Planning for Effective Public Participation (a prerequisite for the next course), 3 days

Thursday 6 and Friday 7 September 2018, Module 2,

Techniques for Effective Public Participation, 2 days.

Foundations in Public Participation was designed with the input of successful practitioners who work with diverse populations and divergent circumstances throughout the world. The course is divided into two modules, each focusing on one of the two major phases of public participation, planning and techniques. Upon completion of both modules, you will receive a certificate of completion from IAP2.
