Promoting excellence in public participation in Southern Africa

Awards

About the Awards

The IAP2 Core Values Awards are a central feature in the mission of IAP2 to advance and extend the practice of public participation around the world. Open to anyone who has undertaken public participation, they have been successfully held annually at an international level for nearly a decade.

IAP2 Southern Africa hosted the first regional Core Values Awards in 2012. The southern African awards are linked to the IAP2 International Core Values Awards, with the same criteria and rigorous process being followed.

The Awards are designed to showcase global excellence in projects and organisations in the practice, in particular in the application of the IAP2 CORE VALUES.

Examples of past winners of the International Core Values Awards (IAP2) can be found in the State of the Practice Reports.
